Kaitlin Butts will release Hello, Honky Tonk, her fourth studio album and her first on a major label, on Oct. 30, 2026, via Republic Records. Produced by Tofer Brown and recorded in Nashville, the album’s song titles were revealed one at a time by honky-tonks and music venues in the United States, Australia and England.

When does Kaitlin Butts’ Hello, Honky Tonk come out?

Hello, Honky Tonk is out Friday, Oct. 30, 2026, on Republic Records. It is Butts’ fourth studio album and her major-label debut. Tofer Brown produced the record, and Butts made it in Nashville.

The move to Republic Records marks a new chapter for Butts after three studio albums. Hello, Honky Tonk is the first record she releases with the backing of a major label, and it follows three songs already in listeners’ hands: “What More Could You Want,” “I Wanna Be Bad” and “Never Really Mine.”

The night before release, Butts plays an album release show at Skinny Dennis in Nashville on Oct. 29. The show sold out in four hours.

How Kaitlin Butts revealed the Hello, Honky Tonk songs

Butts handed the reveal to the venues where her kind of country music lives. Instead of posting a single track list, she had honky-tonks and music halls each announce one song title. The venues that took part include:

  • Billy Bob’s Texas
  • Cain’s Ballroom
  • The Grand Ole Opry
  • Luckenbach
  • Jolene’s in Sydney, Australia
  • Duke’s of Highgate in London

The rollout matched the album’s title. Each reveal came from a honky-tonk stage, from Billy Bob’s Texas and Luckenbach to clubs in Sydney and London.

Two of the venues sit outside the United States. Jolene’s in Sydney, Australia, and Duke’s of Highgate in London each took a song, carrying the rollout overseas. At home, the list ran from Billy Bob’s Texas and Cain’s Ballroom to Luckenbach and the Grand Ole Opry, a lineup that spans dance halls, ballrooms and the Opry stage itself.

Songs on Hello, Honky Tonk

The album opens with “Introducing: Hello Honky Tonk.” Songs on the record include:

Three of those songs are already out. “What More Could You Want,” “I Wanna Be Bad” and “Never Really Mine” were released ahead of the album.
